IT STARTED IN 1964
Maples Gas Company, Inc. was established as a wholesale jobber in 1964 under the leadership of Mr. Dudley Maples. What began as a single-purpose fuel operation has grown — deliberately and steadily — into something rare in the modern fuel industry: a fully integrated company that handles the product from the pipeline to the pump.
Today, Maples Gas operates as three businesses under one roof — a wholesale distributor moving bulk fuel across Mississippi, a retail jobber supplying gas stations under recognized national brands, and a terminaling company connecting two of the country’s largest refined-fuel pipelines to the rest of the state. The names on the trucks and the values behind them haven’t changed since the start.

Mississippi doesn’t run on a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither do we. Maples trucks operate 24 hours a day — moving truckload and bobtruck quantities of fuel from our Meridian terminal to wherever the next delivery needs to be. When an industrial site is running low at 2 a.m., a fleet account needs a top-off before sunrise, or a farm calls during harvest season, our dispatch is awake and our drivers are ready.
