We are currently seeking applications for the following position(s).

Fuel Driver

We are currently seeking a Fuel Driver who can safely drive and operate a class 8 vehicle. We are seeking a person who can operate in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws as related to motor carrier safety regulations. Qualify for loading at various fuel loading racks by completing orientation and safety procedures for each specific rack. Complete new hire training program. Load bulk tank trailers at various racks. Unload petroleum products at customer locations in tanks located above and below ground. Maintain daily driving log according to state and federal regulations. Complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Report. Maintain telephone contact with dispatcher to receive loading and delivery instructions. Communicate any customer needs to appropriate office personnel for follow-up. Reports all accidents and injuries to supervisor, regardless of how minor. Perform basic tasks such as keeping the truck cab interior clean, cleaning windshields, checking and maintaining all fluid levels, tire pressure, and re-fueling truck. Alternating weekend work required. Perform other related duties, tasks, and or responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested by management as business needs arise.

Terminals

MGC terminaling company operates two terminals in Meridian, Mississippi. Each terminal is connected to Colonial and Plantation pipelines. The North terminal offers gasoline and ultra-low-sulfur diesel and ultra-low-sulfur dyed diesel. One lane has two ultra-low-sulfur risers and a ultra-low-sulfer dyed riser. The opposite side has two ultra-low-sulfur dyed risers and two ultra-low-sulfur risers. This helps minimize load time for the customers.

The North terminal offers gasoline and ultra-low-sulfur highway diesel, while the South terminal offers ultra-low-sulfur highway and off-road diesel.

South Rack:

• Ultra-low-sulfur diesel

• Regular unleaded
• Premium unleaded
• Ultra-low-sulfur diesel

The terminaling operation offers many services to help wholesale and industrial accounts manage their cost and supply.

Services Available:

• Prepurchase fuel programs
• Contract purchase
• Thru-Put agreements
• Exchange programs

MGC also operates as a common carrier to assist customers in their logistics needs.

Company History

Maples Gas Company, Inc. was established as a wholesale jobber in 1964 under the leadership of Mr. Dudley Maples. Since then the operation has grown into a wholesale distributor, a retail jobber and a terminaling company.

A fleet of trucks operates 24 hours a day delivering truckload and bob truck quantities of fuel to industry, fleet, farm and wholesale accounts. These trucks also deliver to retail outlets marketing Chevron and independent gasoline and fuel.
